    1. Agreement to Terms

    By accessing or using CVForge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

    If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

    These Terms apply to all users, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

    2. About the Service

    CVForge is an AI-powered resume tailoring platform. Features include:

    • Resume parsing and analysis
    • Job description analysis
    • AI-generated resume customization
    • Europass PDF generation
    • Account-based resume storage (premium feature)

    We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

    3. User Accounts

    3.1 Account Creation

    Users may access the Service without an account (free tier) or create an account for premium features.

    3.2 User Responsibility

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account.

    3.3 Suspension and Termination

    We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or pose security/safety risks.

    4. Payments and Billing

    4.1 Pricing

    Premium features require payment as listed in the Service.

    4.2 Payment Processing

    Payments are securely processed via Stripe.

    By purchasing, you agree to Stripe's Terms.

    4.3 Refund Policy

    Refunds may be granted at our discretion.

    4.4 Tokens

    Premium tokens are:

    • Non-refundable
    • Never expiring
    • Non-transferable

    5. User Content

    5.1 Ownership

    You retain ownership of all content you upload (resumes, job descriptions, photos).

    5.2 License to Process

    You grant CVForge permission to process your content solely to provide the Service.

    5.3 Content Responsibility

    You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on rights or violate laws.

    6. AI-Generated Output Disclaimer

    You acknowledge that:

    • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies
    • You are responsible for reviewing all final CVs
    • CVForge does not guarantee job placement or employment outcomes
    • CVForge is not responsible for errors or fabrications produced by the AI
    • You remain fully responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of your resume

    The Service provides guidance, not final hiring decisions.

    7. Prohibited Activities

    You agree NOT to:

    • Violate laws or regulations
    • Upload harmful code or disrupt the Service
    • Infringe intellectual property rights
    • Attempt unauthorized access to systems
    • Use the Service for fraudulent or illegal purposes
    • Reverse engineer or scrape the platform
    • Resell CVForge without written permission

    8. Intellectual Property

    All software, branding, and content (except user content) belong to CVForge/Dinoc and are protected by international IP laws.

    You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service without permission.

    9. Third-Party Services

    We rely on third-party providers such as:

    • Stripe (payments)
    • Firebase (authentication)
    • Vercel (hosting)
    • Fly.io (backend processing)
    • OpenAI, DeepSeek, Gemini (AI processing)

    We are not liable for failures or issues of third-party services.

    10. Disclaimer of Warranties

    The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranty, express or implied.

    We do not guarantee:

    • Uninterrupted service
    • Error-free functionality
    • Accuracy of AI-generated content

    11. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law:

    • CVForge is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
    • Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months

    12. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and the European Union.

    Disputes shall be resolved in Romanian courts.

    13. Changes to Terms

    We may update these Terms.

    Changes take effect upon posting a new "Last Updated" date.

    Continued use of the Service = acceptance of updated Terms.
